GSSAPI

• This is an API which defines operations such as:

  • GSS_Acquire_cred():
  • GSS_Init_sec_context():
  • GSS_Wrap():
  • GSS_Unwrap():

• An application which uses the GSSAPI can "plug in" any security service which implements the API
